Leadership and Management in Business is about how organizations lead and manage people.

Upon successful completion of this program, the student will be able to:

  • Explain the differences between leadership and management
  • Understand the staffing process in any business
  • Understand the 22 Federal Employment Laws and how those laws protect them
  • Identify career choices available in the Business & Marketing pathway
  • Research a career of choice to identify required education and training
  • Develop a personal plan of action to meet specific career objectives
  • Manage and motivate work teams in a classroom environment
  • Apply principles of effective leadership and management in a real work place
